Theoretically, programs are available to redress abuses of the election process, If you believe you or someone else has experienced a civil rights violation related to voting, such as voter suppression or discrimination. In that case, you can file a report with the Department of Justice. If you witness or suspect any election crimes, such as voter fraud or campaign finance crimes, you can report them to your local FBI field office or file an online complaint at tips.FBI.gov.
For any possible violation of state or local election laws, such as inaccurate voter registration rolls, you can contact your local and state law enforcement agencies, the U.S. Attorney for the district where the election occurred, or the U.S. Department of Justice, Public Integrity Section. If you have information about fraud, waste, or abuse involving federal funds for elections, you should report it to the U.S. Department of Justice at civil rights.justice.gov.
Finally, suppose you suspect any fraudulent activity related to the Help America Vote Act (HAVA). In that case, you can report it to the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) Inspector General through eac.gov/inspector-general/report-fraud-waste-or-abuse.
Practically, however, these institutions have shown little interest in enforcing Election Integrity claims. The proof is complex and legal fees are prohibitive.
